THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES

The National Archives records Administration is our national recorder keeper. we went mange Cart, to see the document. great charter in 1215 an assembly of barons confronted king John of England and demanded that traditional rights be recognized, written down, and confirmed with the royal seal. Between 1215 and 1297, Maegan Carita was reissued by each of king John's successors. The 1297 Maegan cart on display was acquired by David M. Ron Bernstein in 2007 and loaned to the National Archives as a gift to the American people. we went to see the picture and document. The man said no flash paleographer because that heart the document.I saw picture in the national archives and that is of the charters documents. on the left, the declaration of independence shows Thomas Jefferson presenting a draft of the declaration to John Hancock, president of the continental congress. The constitution of the united state shows James Madison offering the final draft of the constitutional to George Washington, president of the constitutional convention. We went to see DECLARATION OF Independence document. The declaration announced to the the world on July 4, 1776, that 13 British colonies in North America were leaving Great Britain to from a separate nation called the united state of American. CONSTITUTION OF The united stastes. The counstiution codfied the sprit of the American Revolution in to an ingenious. The countuiton established a strong central government made up three branches of government with a sophisiticated set of checks and blance. The Bill of right, added to the countituion in 1791 as the first amedment, explicity protects freedom of speeche, religone, and assembly, among many other rights. The document that we know as the bill of right is the Joint Resolution passed by congress, proposing 12 not 10 Amendement.The second article listed concering congressional pay, was ratified in 1992 as 27th amendement.

KENNEDY CENTER

The John F. Kennedy center for the performing Arts is a national memorial, it receives federal funds for building maintenance and Operations. performances productions and educational activities are supported through ticket sales, and contributions from Individuals, coroporatinns, and private foundations. A National cultural center for the performing arts. the Kennedy center is one of the nationals busiest cultural institutions. Each year, for audiences numbering more than 2 million the center presents more than 2,000 performances of Washington's and musical's dance and ballet: orchestral, chambet. A national presidential memorial located 17 acres overlooking Potomac river in Washington D.C the Kennedy center is a unique living monument. In 1958, president Dwight D. Eisenhower signed legislation established a National cultural center, and the center was designated as the nation's memorial to president kenndey center now stands as a tribute to his strong belief in cultural achievement as an integral part of the human expericence, and to his efforts to established what he called ''a New Froniter for American art. A National leader in education each year, the kennedy center brings the arts to more than 11 million young people, educatours, and families throughout the nation. The kennedy center nutures artistry in young people through many music, dance, and theater education programs

WHITE HOUSE

The White House was build in 1798. The White House is very beautiful and you can visit the white house. It is open for tours almost every day of the year. More than one million people visit every day of the year. There are 132 rooms in all. On the official tour, visitors only see seven rooms, and there halls. The white house is also a museum. We went white house visitor centre Department of commented . You can get allot of information about white house. The state dining room is big enough for 140 people to sit down to eat! The East room is the biggest room in the white house. The white library has 2,700 books in it all of the books are by American authors. The president office in the west wing of the white house. It is called the oval office because It is shaped like circle. There are two kitchens and one pantry in the white house. White house chefs some times have to make food for more than one hundred people a day. The Lincoln bedroom and The Queen bedroom. There are elven bedrooms and thirty two bathroom. There are two famous bedroom in the private part of the white house. once, a president dog had puppies in a white house bedroom! A lot of people come to see Abraham Lincoln memorial because that is history in the united state. Abraham Lincoln 16th president of the united stastes 1861-1865 when Abraham Lincoln was Inaugurated in 1861, he became president of staste that were not united. In fact after arguing for year about slavery and staste rights, Northernres and southernres, were on the brink of civil, or internal, war. Lincoln has been called the greatest U.S president because he reunited the country.I saw this on the tomb for Abram Lincon. this is freedom Abram Lincon in this Temple as in the hearts of the people for whom he saved the union the memory of Abram Lincon in Enshrined Forever. we went the Washington Mennonite is large tomb. We went to the washington menomenteal. The washington menomnteal is big. The war to fight Germany and Japan 19-41-1945. we was sad. because a lot of people is dide for war.

National Zoo

We went to the National Zoo and it was beautiful. The National Zoo had a lot of animals like pandas, Tigers, monkeys, Elephants. We also went to the Asia trial exhibit where it tells where an animal lives and what a animal eats. In the Asia trial exhibit where it tell you where an animal lives eat. in The Asia Trail exhibit tells you if an animal lives in grassland or in dry forest.Of people is coming to see National zoo. Then we went to panda animal and it is native word in Nepal. a large bear like mammals Arthropod melancholic of the mountains of china and Tibet, with distinctively marked black and white woolly fur. A small raccoon like mammal, Allures fuglens of northeastern Asia with reddish fur along ringed tail. panda is Approximately 5 feet long. panda live in grassland and mouton's It is eat bamboo. panda is important for the national zoo. because panda is unique animals. It is limited animal and you can not found it in all country like dog or cat you can found any place. when I see panda I was surprise because I didn't see this animal. you can see tiger. tiger isa large carnivorous feline mammals, panthers tigress of Asia, having a tawny coat with transverse black stripes. It live in forest and tiger live in different country like Africa, Asia, Europe. It eat meat. we went to see Elephant and elephant is either of two very larger her bivouacs mammals. It lives in of south central Asia or lOxidant Africa's of Africa. It is eat tree. when I see the elephant in national. they was walking outside. there are 3 elephant. I saw people building for animals house in national zoo. we saw Monkey. monkey is A members of the order primates. exculiding human beings specif, most long tattled primates including the old and new world monkeys and the marmosets. monkeys was show for climbing. It was good natioinal zoo because it has different animal also public park and large fence where live animals to kept for display.

The Capital Building

You can see the Cannon house of building. You can go to the United States capital visitor center.If you want to go visit,the location is capital square st. when you go in you are going to be with a guide. The guide is going to explain all the things inside the capital building and it was build in 1855-1866. It's a beautiful place because if you go to the top and look up you are going to be able to see George W. amount other people. Inside the Capitol you see a lot of historical picture of people and you can watch a short moives too. The short movies is about Washington DC. history and about house Representative.

Arlington National Cementery

Arlington Cemetery is a historical place to show you about American soldiers who died as a result of the USA war with other countries. Arlington cementery is a famous cemetery because all of our soldiers are buried. We saw pictures of soldiers curring tomb of dead soldiers. We saw a lot of stamps in the mirror and different war stamp . You can go to see the tomb of the unknown and the ceremony too.You can go to see the tomb and see the there is a lot of soldiers dead for this country it may be sad when you see the tomb. You can see some people practicing celebrating and we like that celebrating it was prefect. The land encompassing Arlington.

Old Town

Old Town is a beautiful place to go visit and I am not just saying that because I live in Alexandria .In Old Town you could shop in Ross,Wall Mart,Nine west......,In Old Town there is the Alexandria Library were there they have very very good books you can read while you are in vacation.The location of the library is queen st and Columbus.In Old Town you can find a lot of good restaurants like chines food,different country restaurant like the Warehouse Bar & Grill,but if you are looking for a nice lobster you can go to the Wharf in 119 king street old town alexandria but if you wan to dine in the same the same wall as our finest patriet and president you can go dine in the Gatsby's tavern restaurant.old town christ church is beatifuland big. the chirst chrich location is old town. Christ Church with its wine-glass pulpit,bas more than 800 person buried in the church yard the oldest grave dating to 1791. the Christ church a lot of people come to see and visit.
